Stock Music refers to a type of music licensing that allows the purchaser to pay for the music license ONLY ONCE.

For example if you purchase stock Music for a video on your website or a TV advertising license for your new restaurant, irrespective of having 100 or 10,000 visitors, whether you use the music for 1 month or 10 years  pay one single price. Pay ONCE and use as long as you want.

This lease, grants the artist or licensee unlimited rights to the track. It's similar to the unlimited rights that is received with an exclusive rights agreement, but without full ownership of the track. As it relates to Youtube, using leased tracks on Youtube can be tricky if not done correctly. Make sure when you submit your music to the distribution services (Distrokid, Tunecore, etc) that you DON'T enable any option that submits your music to Content ID. It's recommended that  you choose the monetization options in your Youtube video when uploading.
